A. Florence Skincare Product Review - Part 1
I have been very lucky to have been sent some of A. Florence Skincare Products to try and review. This is a two apart review and I will be posting part 2 next week, so stay tuned!!

A. Florence Skincare is a new company who have formulated their products around research that shows that topical application of high quality cold-pressed Omega 6 and 3 fatty acids is the most effective way to restore skins function and appearance whilst also reducing UV- induced photo damage and inflammatory responses from condition such as acne, rosacea, eczema and dermatitis. As the majority of omega oils taken orally (approx 60%) are digested by the liver before reaching the skin, therefore topical application is the most efficient route for the skin to see all those lovely benefits!
What it contains
What I love about this company is that its very eco minded. All the products are hand-made in small batches to ensure good quality control and freshness. All the oils are virgin, cold - pressed or CO2 extracted and are wild-crafted or organic, so full of pure goodness with no nasties!! Along with being packed with omega 3 and 6 oils, the products from A. Florence are also packed with raw herbs, lipids, bioactive plant extracts, vitamins, acids and minerals to improve the appearance and function of the skin, helping to hydrate, treat skin condition such as acne whilst leaving you with glowing and healthier skin.
What it doesn't contain
You won't find any synthetic fragrances / phthalates, dyes, coconut oil and shea butters, petrochemicals, GMO's, butylene and propylene glycols, mineral oils, nanoparticles, silicones, BHA and BHT, SLS's sulphates, PFOA, hydroquinone, benzoyl peroxide, formaldehyde, alcohol, paragons and none of the products are tested on animals!!! Also all of their products are vegan friendly apart from their Skin barrier Restoring Serum which contains non-vegan cholesterol.

About this product
OH WOW. I have absolutely fallen in love with this product from the texture, the smell, how it leaves my skin feeling and looking. It's up there is Oskia, Tata harper etc its just beautiful in every way. This soft creamy balm turns into a smooth milk when applied to skin. It removes make up effortlessly and thoroughly cleans my skin without stripping it and leaving it tight or sensitive.
It does this as this cleanser is negatively charged with Zeolite which acts as a magnet, drawing positively charged toxins, makeup, and impurities from your skin, before trapping them within its microporous structure, which then is simply washed away when you rinse it off...remember your muslin cloth for extra exfoliation!
What does it contain
This gorgeous cleanser contains Hibiscus and Rose which not only giving it a wonderful scent but helps calm the skin and reduces inflammation. A. Florence has also added wild Babassu and organic Perilla seed which helps dissolve excess sebum, make-up and SPF cream, without stripping the skin of its natural lipid layer.

Is it Lush ?!?
YES!!! As I have said above I have fallen in love with every aspect of this cleanser and what it can do for my skin and I will 100% be buying a full sized one once my mini pot has run out!!
Intense Night Repair oil with 0.2% Retinol, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Q10
This serum is a multi-correction night time serum which has been clinically proven to have anti-aging properties. I can tell the particles in this product are very small as this serum is incredibly light weight, this also shows that the ingredients are of the highest quality too, helping penetrate the skin and maximising its effects. It feels gorgeous on the skin and instantly sinks in to your skin, so you don't feel caked with product or as if you have a heavy goopy layer of product on your skin (like some other products can do). This also lets you apply other products easily too.
What does it contain
Where do I start?! This is absolutely jam packed with such amazing ingredients ... let me list them below...
- 0.2% Retinol.. this might seem like a very small dose compared to other products on the market however A. Florence believe that little and often is more effective rather than using one off high concentrations of retinol which will leave your skin flaking off and feeling over sensitive and irritated.

Is it Lush ?!?
YES!!! I have used many serums and I love this one. I fell into the bad habit of using harsh retinol only then to suffer with over sensitive, painful and dry patches of skin. However this serum has found the perfect balance of helping to reduce acne and increasing skin turn over with its gentle retinol content but also reducing inflammation and nourishing the skin at the same time. I have seen that the texture of the skin is slowly improving and it helps nip my acne in the bud too. It also leaves my skin feeling hydrated and glowing but not greasy or too shiny. Such a perfect all rounder serum.
