Votre Vu is French based company who make high quality, luxury skincare by sourcing the finest botanical and marine ingredients from different regions in France, for over 80 years. They have been making small handcrafted batches of skincare just outside Paris. 

These products come in the most beautiful packaging, with a gorgeous booklet explaining the benefits of their products and ingredients used, what I also like is that Votre Vu has excellent customer service and is always on hand to answer any questions their customers may have. Which just adds to the experience of using Votre Vu's products.

I have absolutely loved using their Peau Equlibree range and it has worked wonders for my skin. 


Peau Equilibree Balancing Serum

What it contains/ingredients 

  • Glycerin - Hygroscopic, glycerin is a wonderful humectant, attracting water to help skin restore its suppleness, elasticity and softness.
  • Green Tea Leaf Extract - Rich in tannins, theine and vitamin C, green tea has stimulating, toning, decongesting and fatigue - relieving properties that help reduce skin inflammation and irritation, while protecting skin from damage caused by free radicals.
  • Oat Kernal Extract - Rich in iron, zinc, magnesanese, calcium and vitamin A, B and E, oat kernel extract is a great antioxidant used to help soothe troubled skin.

What it doesn't contain
  • Toxins
  • Parabens
  • Artificial colours
  • GMOs
  • Triclosan
  • Talc
  • Sulfates
  • Phthalates
  • These products are not tested on animals.
When can it be used?

This can be used both day and night, especially as its ultra light it will not cause your makeup to slide off or your face to be too shiny in the morning. 

Is it LUSH ?!?!

This serum is absolutely gorgeous. Its ultra light and so can be layered to create the level of hydration that each individual needs, and you will not feel too caked in product if you need to add other serums etc. It absorbs very quickly into my skin leaving no residue, which is something that I always look for in a serum. This is perfect of oily skin as its so light, and non-greasy in formula. I found that using this with the Peau Equilibree creme gave a enough nourishment and hydration as used individually I still left my skin needing something alittle extra. So if you are suffering with very oily skin this will be perfect for you. It will help to nourish you skin whilst hydrating it but will not leave you shiny or causing your skin to become congested. It also helped to re-balance my serum production which has worked wonders for my acne!

Peau Equilibree 24/7 balancing creme

What it contains / ingredients 

  • Allantoin - known for its moisturising, protecting and healing qualities, allantoin is found in comfrey plant which has been used for centuries as a natural smoothing and healing source.
  • Glycerin - Hygroscopic, glycerin is a wonderful humectant, attracting water to help skin restore its suppleness, elasticity and softness.
  • Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein - Loaded with hydrating and brightening properties, this contains amino acids, proteins, minerals, antioxidants and Vitamin B.
  • Provitamin B5 - Helps to attract and retain moisture.
  • Sodium Hyaluronate - This hyaluronic acid attracts moisture.
  • Squalane - This natural oil derived from plants is used for its excellent moisturising and antioxidant properties.
  • Threonine - This amino acid helps keep connective tissues and muscles strong and elastic. 
  • Vitamin B3 - helps to boost hydration and ceramics production, which strengthens the skins natural barrier. This also helps to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, fine lines and dullness.
  • Vitamin B6 - This is excellent for oily skin as it helps regulate hormone balance and prevents to production of excess sebum.
  • Vitamin E 
  • Vitamin H - Biotain, which enhances skin texture and hydration.

Yes, this creme is absolutely gorgous and is the perfect sister product to the serum. This ultra light and layers on perfectly after using the serum. Its extremely nourishing and hydrating but ultra light in texture and formula, leaving me with gorgeous dewy hydrated skin without no horrible shiny residue. These two product also helped to regulate my sebum production, which helped greatly with my acne, shiny control and so helped my make up sit well. Its absolutely lovely. Perfect for oily skin.
